Web Hosting

hosting

Although I don’t actively promote web hosting, I do offer it to customers who ask for it. Simply use the Contact form if you would like to buy hosting from me.

The hosting uses cPanel, the industry standard for quality management panels. The server is fast, reliable and has ample power to handle any CMS that is designed to run on shared hosting, such as WordPress. The Data Centre is in Singapore, which means sites will load quickly from any country.

This site is on that server, so you can judge for yourself how fast pages load from your country.

Here are some of the specifications you can expect:

  • 2GB Disk Space
  • 20GB Monthly Bandwidth
  • 5MB/s I/O Usage
  • 1GB RAM
  • SSL Included
  • Unlimited Email accounts and Forwarders
  • Unlimited Sub-domains
  • Unlimited Databases
  • PHP 7.2 – 8.0
  • Mod Security
  • Immunity 360
  • Custom php.ini and user.ini files
  • Custom Cron Jobs
  • Free, premium GeneratePress Theme
  • Security Plugins Installed by me
  • $30/year (US Dollars)

People have become used to web hosting companies offering unlimited disk space and bandwidth, but this is just a marketing ploy. They count on most people not using a lot of resources. If you do, you end up with your account being suspended.

I will never suspend your account for resource reasons and you can easily see if you are approaching your limit in your dashboard. The average WordPress installation uses 50 – 200MB of disk space and 2 – 5GB of monthly bandwidth. You can see that you have more than enough resources to handle most websites.

If you do need more than I offer, we can work out a custom deal. Nothing is set in concrete and if you have a genuine reason for more resources, then we can discuss that. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with me any time.

I specialize in ClassicPress installations, which is a fork of WordPress that has no Gutenberg code or functions at all. It uses an enhanced version of the standard editor and is light, secure and faster than WordPress. This site is running on ClassicPress.
